Types of Flags/Slabs

Patio flags can be categorized into three main groups such as Riven, Textured or Decorative. However, the principles involved in laying each type are usually the same, the exact nature of the flag will be ascertained how they may be jointed, mortar pointing, polymeric jointing or dry sand jointing being the most known methods.

Patio flags are extensively employed for paths and patios; in fact, they are designed in order to be different and attractive. If they are chosen correctly, they have ability to enhance any type or age of property. Some of them are not suitable for vehicular traffic, while some of the high quality products will be pleasing when laid on a full concrete bed.

Riven-effect Paving

Riven-effect, a name given to patio flags manufactured from cast concrete, mimics the emergence of the traditional old stone flags. We offer a wide range of the traditional old stone flags at cost effective rates.

Our genuine and authentic satisfies our customers. We bring quality products from the big manufacturers tend to have better dyes, a higher cement content, and are usually that bit thicker. To accentuate the quality, known manufacturers usually come in a wider range of sizes, often based on a 150mm module, so pattern formulation is quite uncomplicated.

People look for high quality and cost effective flagstone. Nowadays, heavily textured riven effect paving have become the ideal choice for a country cottage, the amenity or usability of the flags should be considered. Previously, the property owners didn't select rough textured flagstones as they were not looking pretty.
Most of the cheaper units comprise of 'square' edges (arises) that are flat and noticeably manufactured, while the more expensive types lean to have 'fettled' edges, that is, the edges have the rough riven look of the surface.

Textured Paving

Textured flags can be defined as flags with a surface that has been changed in some way. Such flags include a coarse textured finish, the smooth ground or polished types, and the exposed aggregate ranges. Such types of flags are usually manufactured by wet-press methods, rather than casting in a mould as the rivens and decoratives tend to be, and we usually get them to be a bit stronger.

Decorative Paving

Our decoratives include all the other flags that don't get fit into one of the above categories. There are flags mimicking cobbles, setts, old bricks and even wooden decking and railway sleepers, as well as flags making a pretty meager effort to look like block paving, and some really awful stuff with leaves or cheesy wildlife images stamped into the surface, normally sold to the gullible via garden centres.

Customers can contact us round the clock. We will serve them by providing high quality plaving slabs at cost effective rates.
